UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) has introduced new requirements for Secure English Language Tests (SELTs) for student visas with effect from April 2015. .

Students may not need a SELT test for their student visa application if:

they are from the European Union, European Economic Area, or Switzerland
they are applying to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on the (previously Highly Trusted Sponsors) to study at degree or postgraduate level.

Department of Immigration and聽Border Protection (DIBP) accepts 外网天堂 English: Advanced (CAE) scores for visa applications, including student visas. The exam can be taken up to two years before your students make their application.

Your students need only one exam to apply for their university place and their visa because Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions accept 外网天堂 English: Advanced (CAE) for admissions purposes.
